HERNANDEZ TOLEDO Kevin

Kevin Hernández is a prodigious young musician from Mexico, who has distinguished himself as a multidisciplinary artist from an early age. His remarkable musical journey as child includes collaborations with world-renowned artists like Plácido Domingo, Angel Blue, Yo-yo Ma, and Joshua Bell through the National Orchestra and Esperanza Azteca Choir program.

Before reaching legal age, Kevin had already performed as a soloist in significant works, including Mozart's Requiem and Gounod's Santa Cecilia Mass, and operatic roles in L'elisir D'amore, Bastien und Bastienne, and Don Giovanni. His exceptional vocal talent earned him the Best Performance Award and First Prize in the Isabel Soria Singing Competition (2018-2021).

Internationally recognized, Kevin represented Mexico as a first tenor in World Youth Choir tours across China, Mongolia, France, Portugal, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands. He has participated in prestigious festivals like "Les Choralies" in France and "Europa Cantat" in Slovenia, and was part of the MOS Mexico Opera Studio.

His artistic versatility extends to unique projects, including voice work for the Nintendo game "Imp of the Sun" (2020). Kevin has been honored with cultural scholarships and the Youth Cultural Merit award in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, performing with the Three Chiapas Tenors in international festivals.

Graduating with honors in Classical Music from the University of Sciences and Arts of Chiapas, he served as Assistant Conductor of the Chiapas Symphony Orchestra in 2023. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's in Concert Music at the Lausanne (HEMU) in Switzerland, where he has had multiple concerts across Europe just in this short period of time.

Kevin has passion for education, holds pedagogy curses of music for children and training for profesional singers, as well his formation expands to contemporary music.
